How enrolling works
Cómo funciona la inscripción
Pre-screen. Fill out the short form on any study page, or call 718-704-5376 ext. 146. A study coordinator reviews your answers against the study's criteria.
Screening visit. If you may qualify, we schedule a visit at our Manhattan or Long Island City office. Screening includes informed consent, a medical history review, and any tests the study requires. You can ask questions and stop at any point.
Enrollment. If screening confirms you qualify, you enroll and the coordinator who screened you stays your contact for the length of the study. Study-related visits, tests, and study medication are provided at no cost.
Taking part in research is voluntary. You can leave a study at any time, and it will not affect the care you receive from your own doctor.
Preevaluación. Llene el formulario corto en la página de cualquier estudio o llame al 718-704-5376 ext. 146. Un coordinador del estudio revisa sus respuestas según los criterios del estudio.
Visita de evaluación. Si es posible que califique, programamos una visita en nuestra oficina de Manhattan o de Long Island City. La evaluación incluye el consentimiento informado, una revisión de su historial médico y las pruebas que requiera el estudio. Puede hacer preguntas y detenerse en cualquier momento.
Inscripción. Si la evaluación confirma que califica, se inscribe, y el mismo coordinador sigue siendo su contacto durante todo el estudio. Las visitas y las pruebas relacionadas con el estudio, y el medicamento del estudio, se proporcionan sin costo.
La participación en la investigación es voluntaria. Puede dejar un estudio en cualquier momento, y eso no afecta la atención que recibe de su propio médico.

NYC Research Inc is a division of Endocrine Associates of West Village PC. The research team is led by a board-certified endocrinologist and includes nurse practitioners, registered nurses, a pharmacist, a registered dietitian and certified diabetes care and education specialist, and study coordinators. We have dozens of completed trials in diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular and thyroid conditions, listed on ClinicalTrials.gov.
